Brian Wibberley CA CTA AAAC
The principle of the practice is Brian David Wibberley
Brian's qualifications and experience are-:
In addition to the above qualifications and memberships Brian has 30 years involvement in advising farmers and business people in South Australia and Western Australia.
Initially upon completing his agricultural qualification Brian was involved in teaching and lecturing with the South Australian Education Department (Cleve) and the Department of Tertiary and Advanced Education (Eyre Peninsula.)
In 1987 Brian joined the accounting firm Ortmann and Whitford to train as a Chartered Accountant and to provide the firm with an Agricultural Consulting Service.
In 1990 Brian was admitted as a partner and by 1995 Brian acquired the firm in his own right. The firm changed its name to WSA Chartered Accountants.
Over the years Brian has developed his interest in advising farm clients from the early days of Agronomic and livestock consulting, to family farm succession, estate planning and financial management. There are very few farm consultants in Australia that provide the range of qualified skills that Brian provides.
As a result Brian is often asked to present at professional developments days for organisations such as PIRSA, Meat & Livestock Association, the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and the Tax Institute of Australia.
In more recent times Brian has concentrated on ensuring that his farm clients are maximizing their profits out of their limited natural resources and that adequate planning is in place in relation to taxation and, business management intergenerational succession, retirement and estate planning.
All of these areas draw heavily on Brian's qualifications as an agriculturist, teacher, accountant, taxation, superfund specialist and Financial Planner along with his vast experience, dealing one on one, with his business clients.
